INOAUG Oracle APEX AI Days 2025 - Hyderabad

The Hyderabad edition marked the concluding chapter of INOAUG APEX AI Days 2025, organized by INOAUG and held on 6 December 2025. The event brought together Oracle APEX developers, solution architects, and technology leaders from the region to discuss the evolving role of AI in enterprise application development.

Maathra participated as a partner for the event, reinforcing its continued engagement with the Oracle APEX community and its focus on practical, production-ready AI integrations. As part of the technical sessions, Arun Mohan, Co-Founder and CTO of Maathra, presented “Model Context Protocol (MCP) for APEX Developers.”

The session explored how enterprises can safely expose databases, APIs, and operational capabilities to large language models using a governed and structured approach. Arun explained how MCP enables typed schemas and controlled execution, allowing natural language inputs to be translated into valid SQL, executed securely, and summarized into meaningful business insights.

Live demonstrations using Claude Desktop illustrated conversational analytics scenarios against Oracle Database, highlighting how MCP can enhance reporting, analytics, and decision-support use cases within Oracle APEX applications. The session emphasized governance, security, and reliability as foundational principles for AI adoption in enterprise environments.

The Hyderabad edition saw active participation and thoughtful discussions around real-world MCP adoption, AI-assisted developer workflows, and the future of conversational interfaces in Oracle APEX. As the final stop of APEX AI Days 2025, the event successfully wrapped up the series with strong community engagement and actionable technical takeaways.
